"Just realised we hadn't left a review. Only discovered this cottage a couple of years ago. Currently on our third stay. Just tremendous. Brian and Gill perfect hosts, property truly immaculate. Easily our favourite place to stay in the UK. Yes, if you are looking for peace and tranquility in the perfect English rural location, then you've just found it. Enjoy." Sue and David (May 2019) |
"Another stunning stay at the Cowshed. Think it's the sixth year now. It's the best UK property we've ever rented. Brian and Jill are magnificent hosts too. If you can find the right date, just book it. Shropshire and Herefordshire are both beautiful counties. Do yourselves a favour. Enjoy. " David and Suse (April 2023) |
"The Cowshed is very clean and comfortable. Brian and Gill have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Location is great too for exploring the area. We have been home 24 hours and are really missing the incredible views. Many thanks for a fab week, we will be back! " Gill and Neil (June 2023) |
"The Cowshed is beautifully laid out and feels very spacious for two. It's kitted out to a very high spec with everything you could ever need. The bedroom, living area, bathroom and kitchen are luxurious and comfortable but the sun room was a real standout for us: we spent many hours just watching the stunning view towards Ludlow change with the weather. There's loads to do and see in the surrounding area which is great for walking and (challenging & hilly) cycling. Last of all, Brian and Gill were lovely hosts. They welcomed us with generous gifts of wine, home-baked shortbread and fruit and were always on hand for advice and tips about the local area. Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay."
